Thanks to the facilitation and co-organization of Prishtina REA and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Kosovo, four leading ICT and technology companies from Kosovo — IT Vision, Cacttus, Frotcom, and Sigma Technology Group–AppBits — took part in the 2025 Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS) and the Taiwan International AIoT Show (AIoT Taiwan), held from October 22–24 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1.
Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), with Prishtina REA serving as a co-organizer from Kosovo, TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan 2025 was one of Asia’s most influential trade fairs for the ICT, electronics, and AIoT industries. The 2025 edition, themed “AInnovation Now,” focused on the integration of Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (AIoT), featuring six main topics:
-
AIoT Applications
-
Robotics & Smart Automation
-
Smart Surveillance
-
Smart Data Centers
-
Industrial IoT Embedded Systems
-
Satellite Communications
This year’s edition also introduced two new themed areas — Optoelectronics and Display Technology — which showcased how AI is enhancing innovation across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and entertainment. These additions reflected Taiwan’s growing role as a global leader in smart technology and industrial transformation.
The event gathered hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of international visitors, including major global companies such as Syscom Computer, CES, TECO Electric & Machinery, and Yuan Shan Technology. The exhibition floor served as a vibrant hub for technology demonstrations, product launches, and knowledge exchange between global ICT leaders and emerging innovators.
Alongside the main exhibition, the TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan Forums explored advanced topics such as edge AI applications, space technology, and cross-industry collaboration. Special networking sessions and international procurement meetings were also organized to connect startups, established enterprises, and technology investors from around the world.
Strengthening Kosovo–Taiwan Business Ties
With the support of Prishtina REA under the EEN Kosovo framework, the Kosovo companies participated in targeted B2B matchmaking sessions with Taiwanese partners, technology providers, and distributors. These engagements created valuable opportunities for exploring joint ventures, technology partnerships, and export channels toward Asian markets.
The participation also provided a platform for Kosovo’s ICT sector to gain international visibility, exchange knowledge on emerging digital trends, and build long-term cooperation with global technology ecosystems. It highlighted Kosovo’s growing role as a competitive player in the regional and international ICT landscape.
Connecting Innovation Across Continents
TAITRONICS & AIoT Taiwan 2025 not only demonstrated Asia’s leadership in AIoT but also offered a powerful international platform for European innovators, startups, and technology exporters. For Kosovo, participation in such a prestigious fair marked a significant step in its efforts to expand global business linkages and strengthen cross-continental innovation partnerships.
Through this initiative, Prishtina REA and EEN Kosovo continued their mission to support the internationalization of Kosovo SMEs, promote innovation collaboration, and enhance the competitiveness of the national ICT ecosystem.
