– The German-Kosovar Business Association (OEGJK) hosted an information session on Thursday 18th September 2025 at Hotel Garden in Prishtina, where members of the business community were introduced to the services of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Kosovo and the opportunities available through the EU’s Single Market Programme (SMP) 2021–2027.

The session featured a detailed presentation by Ahmet Jetullahu-Meti, Country Coordinator of EEN Kosovo at Prishtina REA. He explained how EEN Kosovo provides tailored support to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in areas such as innovation, sustainability, resilience, digitalisation, and internationalisation. These services are designed to help businesses scale, find international partners, and navigate EU regulations and markets.

Ahmet Jetullahu-Meti also presented the EU’s Single Market Programme, a €4.2 billion initiative that strengthens the EU internal market, supports SMEs, and builds long-term competitiveness. He highlighted Kosovo’s inclusion in the programme since 2023, noting that local enterprises can now access strands focused on SME competitiveness, market surveillance, consumer protection, and the development of the internal market for goods and services.

Participants received practical guidance on how to engage with the programme, including registering on the EU Funding and Tenders Portal, obtaining a Participant Identification Code, and submitting proposals for open calls. Ahmet Jetullahu-Meti underlined that success depends on strong partnerships and alignment with EU priorities, and encouraged Kosovo’s businesses to take full advantage of the advisory services offered by EEN Kosovo.

The info session also featured discussions with representatives from EU institutions, international financial organisations, and national agencies, offering a broader perspective on grants and support mechanisms. The event provided an important platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing, reinforcing the message that Kosovo’s enterprises are now better positioned to access European funding and strengthen their competitiveness.

Through its active participation, EEN Kosovo reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local SMEs in seizing international opportunities and contributing to Kosovo’s sustainable economic growth.
