Two Kosovar Companies Secure EENergy-  SMP Grants for Energy Efficiency 

 Two prominent Kosovar companies, Hotel Ylli Pastriku and Pro Real Estate, have been announced as beneficiaries of the EENergy grant, a significant initiative aimed at boosting energy efficiency across Europe. This success highlights their commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, positioning them as leaders in their respective sectors. 

The EENergy project is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Europe in their efforts to improve energy efficiency. Over the course of two years, the project will distribute €9 million through more than 900 grants. These grants aim to help SMEs engage in activities, make purchases, or integrate solutions that will result in at least a 5% improvement in their overall energy expenditure. 

Each company could apply for a grant of up to €10,000, which is fully financed. The EENergy project is implemented in cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) sustainability services under the Single Market Programme. The grant call was open until May 15, 17:00 CET, providing ample opportunity for SMEs to apply for this substantial financial support. 

Success Stories from Kosovo 

Hotel Ylli Pastriku, a successful women-led business from Gjakova, is one of the first beneficiaries of the EENergy grant. This hotel has demonstrated remarkable leadership in the hospitality industry, and this grant will further enhance their efforts to adopt energy-efficient practices. 

The second beneficiary is Pro Real Estate, a leading company in the real estate sector in Kosovo. Known for their innovative approach and commitment to sustainable development, Pro Real Estate’s receipt of the grant underscores their dedication to energy efficiency. 

Both companies secured these grants with the support of EEN Kosovo Advisors at Prishtina REA, showcasing the vital role of local advisory services in helping businesses achieve sustainability goals. 

The success of Hotel Ylli Pastriku Sh.P.K. and Pro Real Estate in securing the EENergy grant not only marks a significant milestone for these companies but also serves as an inspiration for other SMEs in Kosovo and beyond.
