Prishtina REA, in its role as the lead organization and national coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Kosovo, has launched a new capacity-building and information campaign aimed at strengthening Kosovo’s participation in European Union–funded programmes. The campaign officially commenced on 5 January 2026 with the publication of a series of structured video tutorials dedicated to the European Commission’s Funding & Tenders Portal.

The initiative responds to a growing demand from businesses, research organizations, public institutions, civil society organizations, and consultants for clear, practical, and accessible guidance on how to successfully engage with EU funding mechanisms. The Funding & Tenders Portal serves as the central digital platform for managing EU programmes such as Horizon Europe, Single Market Programme, Erasmus+, Digital Europe, and other centrally managed funding instruments. While powerful, the platform is often perceived as complex, particularly by first-time applicants and small organizations.

To address this challenge, Prishtina REA and EEN Kosovo have developed a step-by-step video tutorial playlist that walks users through the full lifecycle of an EU-funded project, from initial registration to project implementation and reporting. The videos are designed to be user-friendly, practical, and applicable to real-life scenarios faced by EU project applicants and beneficiaries.

Comprehensive coverage of key EU project processes

The video tutorial series covers a wide range of essential topics, including:

  • Creating and managing EU Login accounts

  • Registering organizations and managing organizational data

  • Using the partner search tools to build strong international consortia

  • Preparing and submitting project proposals

  • Managing grant agreements after approval

  • Handling technical and financial reporting obligations

  • Communicating effectively with European Commission and EU agency services

By breaking down complex procedures into clear, manageable steps, the tutorials aim to reduce common errors, improve proposal quality, and support compliant project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Target audience and practical value

The campaign is targeted at a broad audience, including:

  • Applicants preparing their first EU project proposals

  • Project coordinators managing multi-partner consortia

  • Project partners involved in EU-funded actions

  • Beneficiaries responsible for reporting and grant management

  • Consultants and support organizations assisting clients with EU funding

Each video combines clear explanations with practical tips and best practices, reflecting common challenges encountered by Kosovo-based stakeholders when engaging with EU funding opportunities.

Open access through YouTube and EEN Kosovo learning platform

All video tutorials are being published on the official YouTube channel of Prishtina REA, ensuring open and easy access for users across Kosovo and the wider region. In addition, the videos are integrated into the Learning section of the EEN Kosovo website, allowing users to follow the tutorials in a structured learning environment.

This dual-channel approach ensures maximum visibility and accessibility, while also supporting self-paced learning for users with different levels of experience.

Strengthening Kosovo’s engagement with EU programmes

Through this campaign, Prishtina REA and Enterprise Europe Network Kosovo reaffirm their commitment to enhancing Kosovo’s integration into European research, innovation, and business ecosystems. By providing practical digital tools and targeted capacity-building support, the initiative contributes to improving the quality of applications from Kosovo, increasing participation rates in EU-funded programmes, and strengthening long-term project sustainability.

The video tutorial campaign complements EEN Kosovo’s broader portfolio of services, which includes advisory support, partner search, brokerage events, innovation services, and awareness-raising activities related to EU opportunities.

Prishtina REA encourages all interested stakeholders to explore the video tutorials and to follow upcoming releases, as additional videos will continue to be published to further support users at different stages of their EU project journey.
